Softball Recap: Ovid-Elsie Marauders vs. Lakeville Falcons
Ovid-Elsie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Lakeville Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ovid-Elsie of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Monday.
Maddisyn Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a home run.
On Lakeville's side, Mallorie Nevadomski made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Nevadomski has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Nevadomski was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
