Ware Shoals typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Ninety Six proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Hornets. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Ninety Six is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Ware Shoals, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
