Volleyball Recap: Oregon Comes Up Short

Oregon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13.

Oregon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Oregon will head out to square off against Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dixon, they will take on Naperville Central in a tournament on Saturday.
