Volleyball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

If Argos was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Bend Career Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons came up short against the Winamac Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Dragons have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Argos ultimately came up short, they really made Winamac work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-16.

Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Winamac, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Argos will take on West Central at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Winamac, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Rochester on the 2nd.
