St. Charles waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Lake City Tigers. The Fighting Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

St. Charles' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Lake City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Charles nor Lake City have any future games scheduled.
