Plattsburgh won the last time they faced Saranac Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hornets put the hurt on the Red Storm with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Plattsburgh won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.

Plattsburgh's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalyia Canada, who had 20 digs and three assists. Another player making a difference was Olivia Lathrop, who had ten digs, three aces, and one block.

Plattsburgh's record now sits at 3-0. As for Saranac Lake, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Plattsburgh and Saranac Lake will both be playing Northern Adirondack the next time they take the court. The Hornets will host the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Storm will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
