Brighton lost to Detroit Country Day back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past the Yellowjackets 15-1. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Brighton pushed their record up to 15-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Detroit Country Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Huron on the 16th. As for Detroit Country Day, they have also already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Berkley on the 17th.
