Baseball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Justin Garza Guardians

For the second straight game, Sanger will face off against Justin Garza. The Apaches will head out to face off against the Guardians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sanger is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Sanger barely beat Justin Garza the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Apaches never let the Guardians get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Apaches, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Justin Garza's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Hall, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Sanger's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Justin Garza, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.
