Volleyball Recap: Somerset Find Success

Somerset won the last time they faced River Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Reagan Holmes paced Somerset's offense, picking up five kills. Holmes got some help from Elly Fletcher and her eight assists. Finally, Holmes was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Somerset's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for River Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Somerset wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cambria Heights on the 23rd. As for River Valley, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge United at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
