Softball Recap: Randle Comes Up Short

Randle and Georgetown squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Randle had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since March 28th.

This is the second loss in a row for Randle and nudges their season record down to 9-14. As for Georgetown, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-9-1.

While Randle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
