Flag Football Game Preview: San Mateo Bearcats vs. Hillsdale Fighting Knights + Official Tickets

The San Mateo Bearcats will host the Hillsdale Fighting Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. San Mateo will be strutting in after a win while Hillsdale will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when San Mateo faced off against Burlingame on Wednesday. The Bearcats managed a 13-7 victory over the Panthers. The win was familiar territory for the Bearcats, who have now won three contests in a row.

The critical scores for San Mateo came from Destina Zhou and Valentina Gomez Palacio.

San Mateo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Addison Busse, Zhou, Zoe Lichaa, and Lulu Bertolina picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale fell victim to Aragon and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Dons, falling 20-0. The Fighting Knights' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

San Mateo's record is now 9-4. As for Hillsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
