Softball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Enterprise's 13th in Last 14 Outings

Enterprise extended their postseason success on Saturday against Seminary. They never let Seminary get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering Enterprise has won 22 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meredith Dearman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Enterprise let Hannah Kate Winstead and Saylee Perry run wild. Winstead went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base, while Perry went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs Winstead has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Turner, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Enterprise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Seminary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.

As of now, neither Enterprise nor Seminary have any future games scheduled.
