Football Game Preview: Dickinson Gators vs. Atascocita Eagles + How To Watch

Dickinson hasn't had much luck against Atascocita recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Gators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Atascocita will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Dickinson extended their winning streak to ten on Friday. The Gators took their game with ease, bagging a 66-27 victory over Deer Park. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-7.

Meanwhile, Atascocita was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Goose Creek Memorial 56-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Patriots are ranked 695th).

A big part of Atascocita's win came down to the chemistry between Cardae Mack and his top target Brian Manuel. Mack threw for 163 yards and four TDs while Manuel picked up 147 receiving yards and four touchdowns. What's more, Mack racked up 73 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Atascocita's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Dickinson, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Dickinson came up short against Atascocita when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 50-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mack, who rushed for 334 yards and four scores while picking up 13.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 113 yards on only nine passes.
