Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central fell victim to Fairfax and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 22-0 to the Stampede, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stampede this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 on Tuesday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Fairfax, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central will challenge rival Metro Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fairfax is set to take on their familiar foe Carl Hayden Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
