Masters came up big in Mount Calvary Christian's 15-1 win
While Monday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Josiah Masters. Lancaster Mennonite had no answer to Masters on Monday as he scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Masters and Mount Calvary Christian will head out on the road to take on York Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Masters has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering York Catholic has only allowed 3.5 per game this season.
