Oak Hills posted their closest win since April 18, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Lakota West Firebirds 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Highlanders' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Oak Hills got a great performance from Landen Seifert as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Seifert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Oak Hills' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wil Kraus, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
