Football Recap: Conard Red Wolves vs. Berlin Redcoats
Conard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 48-21 loss at the hands of the Berlin Redcoats.
Berlin can attribute much of their success to Kayden Tirado, who rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Conard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Berlin, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Conard and Simsbury will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on October 17th. Simsbury will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Berlin, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Enfield at 6:00 p.m. on October 17th. Berlin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.2 points per game this season.
