Baseball Recap: Cypress Springs Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Cypress Springs came out on top against Cypress Lakes on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. The Panthers took their match against the Spartans 10-6. Ten seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jayvn Mitchell and Travonne Pierite did most of the damage at the plate: Mitchell went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Pierite went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Pierite has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mathew Calvo, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
