Meanwhile, Charleston Math & Science's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Military Magnet Academy 89-25. Charleston Math & Science was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-5.
St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Charleston Math & Science, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
