Recap: Cardozo Judges vs. Martin Falcons
The Cardozo Judges put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Martin at home to the tune of 91-52. Considering Cardozo has won seven matches by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jordin Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Cardozo's points. Darius Mihai was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Cardozo's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.33 points. As for Martin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Cardozo won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eagle Academy III at 5:00 p.m. on January 4th. Bowne knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Martin likes a good challenge.
