Toledo Christian took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They blew past the Woodward Polar Bears 36-1. That's more bragging rights for Toledo Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Josiah Rohman and Kaiden Quinn were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Rohman struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Quinn tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). At bat, Rohman scored four runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Quinn went 2-for-2 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Toledo Christian got a massive performance out of Zander Delauter, who scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Gavin Hamilton was another key contributor, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and a triple.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Toledo Christian will face off against Ayersville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodward, they will head out on the road to challenge Sandusky at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
