Volleyball Recap: St. John Paul II Catholic's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

St. John Paul II Catholic's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Kingman Bulldogs 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. John Paul II Catholic's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-10. As for Kingman, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Paul II Catholic will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Odyssey Institute at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Kingman, they will challenge Phoenix Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
