They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Cedar Crest Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Tornado have posted since April 20, 2024.

As for Cedar Crest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

For Cedar Crest's part, Isaac Kreider was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Carson DiBiaso was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

J.P. McCaskey and Cedar Crest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings.
