With a playoff win on the line, Riverheads rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Central Woodstock Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. The result kept Riverheads happy, as they haven't lost a game since May 6th.

Riverheads has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six games. As for Central Woodstock, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Riverheads will head out on the road to take on Clarke County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clarke County will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Riverheads surely won't give up without a fight. Central Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
