Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Takes a Loss

St. Joseph was the 6-4 winner over Juan Diego Catholic when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jayhawks came up short against the Soaring Eagle on Monday, falling 5-2. St. Joseph have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sofia Evans wasn't going to let Juan Diego Catholic walk away unscathed as she scored both of St. Joseph's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Juan Diego Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Rowland Hall on the 14th. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bingham on the 14th.
