Thomas MacLaren School won the last time they faced Miami-Yoder and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Highlanders put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-12.

Sara Christensen paced Thomas MacLaren School's offense, picking up ten kills. Christensen got some help from Jane Ambuul and her 16 assists. Ambuul was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Thomas MacLaren School's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Miami-Yoder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Thomas MacLaren School and Miami-Yoder will both be playing Fountain Valley the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will host the Danes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Buffaloes will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
