After losing to West Point the last time they met, New Hope decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The New Hope Trojans claimed a resounding 63-27 win over the West Point Green Wave. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for New Hope and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for West Point, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hope will be home for the holidays to greet Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will welcome Corinth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
