Softball Recap: Pell City Panthers vs. St. Clair County Fighting Saints

While Pell City's victory against St. Clair County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Pell City had just enough and edged out St. Clair County 4-3 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Reese Edwards spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kherington Keith was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Aubrey Tucker was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
