Baseball Game Preview: Lakeside Vikings vs. Arabia Mountain Rams

The Lakeside Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Arabia Mountain Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lakeside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Lakeside's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Arabia Mountain with a sharp 14-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three matches in a row.

Aidan Conrad looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Jayden Mosley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Grant Jackson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Arabia Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lakeside, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
