Volleyball Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Boynton Beach Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Palm Beach Lakes ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

Hunter Lotito was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March.

Palm Beach Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Boynton Beach, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Lakes will host Pahokee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boynton Beach, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Glades Central on the 16th.
