Basketball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

Blair lost against Crete back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blair Bears took a 67-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Cardinals are ranked 21st).

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Crete, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Blair has already played their next game (against Harlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crete will venture away from home to challenge Elkhorn at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
