Gilbert hadn't done well against Webster City recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Lynx. The Tigers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Webster City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilbert will venture away from home to face off against Bondurant-Farrar on Friday. The Bluejays will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Webster City, they will square off against Humboldt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Lynx their first taste of in-conference action this season.
