Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Seattle Prep Panthers

The Roosevelt Roughriders will face off against the Seattle Prep Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Roosevelt has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, it was close, but Roosevelt sidestepped Nathan Hale for a 4-3 victory.

Meanwhile, Seattle Prep fell victim to Eastside Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 11, 2025.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Seattle Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Roosevelt came out on top in a nail-biter against Seattle Prep in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Roughriders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
