East Hampton and Portland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bellringers are taking a road trip to square off against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games East Hampton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

East Hampton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to Morgan, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Bellringers in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Portland's offense. They fell just short of Haddam-Killingworth by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Portland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Wells, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for East Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

East Hampton came up short against Portland when the teams last played back in April, falling 7-4. Can the Bellringers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
