Heritage Christian waltzed into their game on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They breezed past the Front Range Christian Falcons to the tune of 58-10. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd in Colorado, while the Falcons are ranked 298th in Colorado), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Heritage Christian can attribute much of their success to Sydney Nichols, who posted 11 points and seven boards. Staci Brown was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Heritage Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Front Range Christian only five offensive boards.

Despite the loss, Front Range Christian still got an impressive performance from Shayla Hajka, who scored six points and three steals.

Heritage Christian's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points over those games. As for Front Range Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-11.

Heritage Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-11 victory against Estes Park on the 18th. As for Front Range Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-27 defeat against Gilpin County on the 18th.
