Volleyball Recap: Duchesne Comes Up Short

Duchesne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers. The Pioneers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.

Bryce Rogles paced Duchesne's offense, picking up six kills. Rogles got some help from Landon Mccarthy and his seven assists.

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 10-22-1. As for Fort Zumwalt North, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-15-3.

Duchesne has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 12th. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Fort Zumwalt West on the 12th.
