Baseball Game Preview: R.A. Long Lumberjacks vs. Hudson's Bay Eagles

For the second straight game, R.A. Long will face off against Hudson's Bay. The Lumberjacks will square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. R.A. Long's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Hudson's Bay's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

While R.A. Long's victory against Hudson's Bay wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lumberjacks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 9-7. The Lumberjacks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

For Hudson's Bay's part, Cam Nicklas and Tanner Koford did some serious damage despite the final result: Nicklas got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Koford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

R.A. Long pushed their record up to 11-7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
