Volleyball Recap: Dellanie Murphy Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Windham + How To Watch

Bloomfield hadn't done well against Windham recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Bombers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Bloomfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dellanie Murphy led the charge by getting 15 digs and six aces. Murphy has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Ishman, who had eight digs and six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Bloomfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in ten consecutive matchups.

Bloomfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-15 record this season.
