Softball Recap: Pace Has No Trouble Against Chelsea

Pace won the last time they faced Chelsea and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Setters put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 16-2 win. The Setters might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 14 runs or more this season.

Pace has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Chelsea, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Pace will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Green at 4:00 p.m. Pace will need to watch out since Green has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Chelsea, they will venture away from home to face off against University Neighborhood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.17 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
