After a string of three wins, Round Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Safford Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Addison Poston paced Round Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Poston got some help from Kylar Penrod and her ten assists. Penrod was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Round Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Safford, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Round Valley will challenge Madison Highland Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Safford, they will be playing at home against Thatcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
