Basketball Preview: L.E.A.D. Academy Lions vs. Jay Royals
The L.E.A.D. Academy Lions will take on the Jay Royals in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
L.E.A.D. Academy lost 60-39 to West Florida Baptist Academy on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 656th, while the Conquerors are ranked 190th).

Despite the loss, L.E.A.D. Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Andrew Holcomb posted 17 points along with six boards and three steals.
