Football Recap: Miami Comes Up Short

Miami fell victim to Edison and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Edison Red Raiders 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Stingarees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 11th).

Miami's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Edison, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Miami will be playing at home against Hialeah at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edison, they will face off against McArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Edison is facing McArthur at the right time seeing as McArthur is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
