Soccer Recap: Armijo Comes Up Short

Armijo managed to keep up with Freedom until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Royals came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. Jonathan Adame was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Armijo's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Freedom, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Coming up, Armijo will face off against Vanden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will square off against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Freedom their first taste of in-conference action this season.
