Softball Recap: Clear Brook Takes a Loss

Clear Brook was the 9-3 winner over Dobie when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Clear Brook Wolverines lost 16-5 to the Dobie Longhorns on Monday.

Ahiza Garcia and Estrella Rowe did some serious damage despite the final result: Garcia went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Rowe scored a run while going 1-for-3. Caydence Franklin was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Clear Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Clear Brook will challenge Clark at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Dobie, they will face off against Little River Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
