It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hardin Northern can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Leipsic Vikings on Wednesday. The Polar Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hardin Northern started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-10.

Hardin Northern's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Leipsic, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.
