Basketball Recap: Patrick Henry Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Tray Adkins and Daivon Glover

Patrick Henry Academy lost against Calhoun Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Patrick Henry Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Daivon Glover and Tray Adkins. Glover went 6-for-13 en route to 17 points, while Adkins dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Adkins is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Lawton, who posted six points.

Nick Lindsay had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 36 points and 12 rebounds for Calhoun Academy. Those 36 points gave Lindsay a new career-high. Colt Layton was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 assists.

Patrick Henry Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Calhoun Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
