Ithaca had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Corning-Painted Post Hawks by a score of 3-1. The Little Red have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.
If you add up the scores from across all four sets (94-91) Ithaca actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23.
Despite the loss, Corning-Painted Post still got an impressive performance from Bella Gonzalez, who had 24 digs and two assists. Makenna Page also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.
