Baseball Recap: Manzanola Comes Up Short

Manzanola lost against Springfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Longhorns, falling 19-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manzanola saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Pettes, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Springfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

While Manzanola had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
