This season hasn't been kind to the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars, who are still winless after their 11th match. They were dealt a 64-36 defeat at the hands of Osmond/Randolph on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Niobrara/Verdigre in their matchups with Osmond/Randolph: they've now lost three in a row.

Osmond/Randolph's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xander Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ryan Engel, who scored 11 points along with five assists.

Niobrara/Verdigre's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Osmond/Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
