Damascus is 7-1 against Seneca Valley since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Damascus Hornets will challenge the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles.

Last Thursday, Damascus and Catoctin finished up their contest with a 5-5 tie.

Meanwhile, Seneca Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Poolesville by a score of 9-8 on Friday.

Maggie Harrison was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Stewart, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Damascus took their victory against Seneca Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0. Will Damascus repeat their success, or does Seneca Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
